About Us
Independent. Reasonable. Action-oriented.
Moderate Action USA is a youth civic organization for Republicans, Democrats, independents, and the politically unaffiliated.
Our Mission
Why we exist
Moderate Action USA empowers young Americans to engage in thoughtful political discussion, promote practical solutions, encourage bipartisan cooperation, and restore civility to American public life.
Our Vision
Where we're going
An America where political differences are not obstacles to progress, where young people think independently, and where cooperation is valued over division.
"Moderate Action USA is not an extension of either political party. We believe good ideas should be evaluated on their merits, not on which political party proposes them."
Our History
A new organization with a national vision
Moderate Action USA was founded by Caden Singleton to give young Americans a political home beyond the parties. We are in our founding stage: opening membership, building our first chapters, and launching our national initiatives.
Our Values
What we hold to
Political Independence
Encouraging young Americans to think critically and form their own opinions.
Common Ground
Finding areas of agreement across political differences.
Practical Policy
Promoting realistic, evidence-based solutions.
Civic Engagement
Encouraging participation in local and national civic life.
Political Civility
Restoring respect and meaningful dialogue.
Youth Leadership
Preparing the next generation of responsible American leaders.
Our Commitment to Independence
Moderation is not the absence of conviction
Being moderate does not mean having no opinions. We encourage members to hold strong convictions while remaining open to evidence, discussion, and compromise.
We are committed to constitutional democracy and to practical policy solutions rather than political hostility. We do not endorse parties, and we welcome members from every political background.
Our Leadership
National leadership
Moderate Action USA is led by Founder & CEO Caden Singleton, with Chief Operations Officer Mathew Diaz-Vicente overseeing chapters and partner organizations.
